The ENORMOUS TURNIP（３）

"Let's try again," said the farmer.

The dog pulled Jack's shirt.
Jack held his mother's skirt.

She hugged the farmer.
The farmer grabbed the turnip leaves.

They all tugged and tugged
as hard as they could.

She hugged the farmer.
He grabbed the turnip leaves.

They both tugged and tugged
But the turnip didn't move.

Jack saw his parents pussing　and panting.

"'I'll help!'' he called

Jack held his mother's skirt.
She hugged the farmer.
The farmer grabbed the turnip leaves.

And they tugged and tugged until they were

red in the sace. But the turnip didn't move.

"Woof!" barked the farmer's dog.
He raced into the field.

The ENORMOUS TURNIP（１）

This story has a farmer, his wife,
a dog, a cat, a bird and an enormous turnip

One morning, the former went to his field.
He want a turnip .

He saw one turnip with very big green leaves.
　　It's huge!

"I'll pick this one," thought the farmer.

The farmer tugged and tugged at the turnip,
The turnip didn't move.

The farmer's wife saw the former puffing and panting

The old woman climbed higher
and higher up the mountain.

She reached the top

and climbed onto the moon.

She found a rock that was shaped like a chair.

The old woman climbed up the mountainside.

It was cold, so she found a small sheltered place.

Then she sat down and began to knit.

The mountain goats were excited to have a visitor.

But the goats were too busy fighting over the red ones, which they all agreed were the best.
