to＋動詞「Vするために」という意味にすることができる

(1) Yumi goes to the city library to borrow books.
(2) My brother went to Beijing to study Chinese.（中国語を勉強するために・・・）
(3) We use a telescope to see stars.（星を見るために望遠鏡を・・・）
(4) I ran to the bus stop to catch the bus.
