　wave は波だが、手を振る（挨拶として）という意味もあった。

　　彼に先に[先頭を]行ってもらおう
　ahead ↔ behind〖be(…に) hind(後ろ)〗

Little Red Riding Hood walked
deeper and deeper into the woods...
It grew darker and darker.

Then the sun hid behind the
clouds and it got darker still.

　Come on, lunch. Where are you?（wolfの独り言）

So Little Red Riding Hood didn't see
the wolf waiting for her on the path.(wolfを形容している）
