The ENORMOUS TURNIP（４）

The farmer brushed the dirt off his clothes, 

" Let's try one more" he said.
（I'm hungry）

Just then, a bird flew past.

"One, two, three.... pull!"
said the farmer.

The bird pecked the cat's tail.

peck：鳥が口ばしでつつく

The cat bit the dog's tail.

The dog pulled Jack's shirt,

Jack held his mother's skirt.

She hugged the furmer.

The farmer grabbed the turnip
and everybody tugged.

They tugged and tugged
and tugged some more.

slowly, 

slowly,  

Very, Very, 

slowly,
the turnip began to move. 

''It's big," said the farmer 

"It's huge," said his wife .

"It's enormous!"cried Jack.
